"The Blind Switch" came out in January, 2021 and I have already finished and submitted its successor, "The Blind Split". I had originally planned to write the 3rd in the series and called it "Blindsided" but sometimes writing tells you what to do, rather than you being in control. "Blind Split" will be released in January, 2021 and we have not yet decided on a cover. Publishing, I have discovered is a sort of step by step business.
The book I'm working on now I've decided to title, "Wednesday's Child." Rather a departure from my earlier thoughts. Here's why I changed my mind. If you go to Amazon and enter "Books" you can find "The Blind Switch" immediately (along with several other books of the SAME title, sigh. Turns book titles are not copyrighted). However, if you just put "The Blind Switch" into the search engine of Amazon without telling it what section you are searching, you see window blinds! And wall switches! Very frustrating.
The Cottonwoods is a departure for mystery writer Lyn Farrell. It is a sweet story of a young woman who is determined to honor a promise she made to her dying mother. Her mother maintained that the century-old farmhouse still in the family is the hiding place of treasure brought to this country by her ancestors during WWI. Its a combination of a mystery and a romance.
At the end of the book there is an "Author's Note" that tells the family history that inspired the story.
