Lyn Farrell is the penname of Lyn Farquhar, a retired professor from Michigan State University where she worked for 35 years as Director for Residency Education for the College of Human Medicine. After retiring she wrote a 7-book series with her daughter, Lisa, called, "The Mae December Mysteries. (for more infomation, see "Mae December Books" tab at left)
Most recently, she wrote a 4-book series, "Rosedale Investigations," of which "The Family Man" is the last. (see home page). She is also the author of a women's fiction novel, "The Cottonwoods." (see Women's Fiction tab at left)
Lyn is Chairperson of the MSU Creative Writer's Group, President of the MSU Community Club and serves on the Board of the One Room Schoolhouse Association.
In addition to two daughters and six step-kids, she has two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that she spoils daily with couch time.
Lyn's famous grandfather (Eugene Iverd) was a Saturday Evening Post cover artist. When she isn't writing or gardening, her hobby is looking for his paintings. This one is called "The Two Masters".
