"The Cottonwoods" is the story of Amber, whose mother died when she was twelve, leaving her responsible for her little sister and her father.
Her dying words spoke of a treasure hidden in the 100 year-old family farm, brought to this country by her immigrant grandparents from
Romania. She asks Amber to find the treasure. Amber has serious doubts the treasure exists, but the farm is going to be sold soon, so if she
is ever to find the treasure, it must be soon.
