Review Summary by Dollycas Blog Tour
The Blind Split (A Rosedale Investigations Mystery) by Lyn Farrell Oh, there are minor cases that the team must solve too, but this main “Blind Split” is a doozy. It has so many directions to check out and dangers to avoid at all costs. I love how involved and tangled are all the clues and questions and personal stresses, and how they ramp up the suspense in this story! ~Here's How It Happened This story kept giving and giving, and bombshells drop, surprises abound! If you enjoy a good mystery, this one will keep you guessing! ~Maureen's Musings This book quickly became a page turner, I had to know if Lexie and Teddy would ever have a relationship. Can you imagine finding out you have a brother when you’re about to get married? Lexie hires Rosendale Investigations to find said brother. He is a toddler, and your heart will break for him! This story kept giving and giving, and bombshells drop, surprises abound! If you enjoy a good mystery, this one will keep you guessing! Dollycas Review

Sorts of POV’s as each does their part. This creates a well-played investigation that is constantly evolving As they find new clues while also coming up with lots of questions. Makes for a fabulously fun read that I found very enjoyable from start to finish. I really liked it so am giving it 4/5 stars. I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for. Books a Plenty Book Reviews |
Here’s How it Happened Review
The Blind Split (named for the new case being investigated) is the second of the Rosedale Investigations mysteries. And like the first one, there is a LOT going on, both on the job and in the 4 investigators’ private lives. The main case involves a will in which a father names an unknown son to share his money along with his daughter LEXIE. She wants the boy discovered (and proved false), but that is easier said than done. When Billy Jo goes to investigate the house the man lived in – she is accosted and nearly killed. When Wayne and Dora try to find the missing boy and his mother they are defeated again and again. Both these detectives now have “issues” from the past that fly up to distract them from their work. And the owner of Rosedale Investigations is laid up by his doctor far from the office.
The other thing that hinders this investigation is none other than COVID-19, or I should say the lockdowns and mandates around it. (Actually I like that the author put this into the story. So many don’t, but when this is read a few years down the road, it will be doubly interesting.) There are minor cases that the team must solve too, but this main “Blind Split” is a doozy. It has so many directions to check out and dangers to avoid at all costs. I love how involved and tangled are all the clues and questions and personal stresses, and how they ramp up the suspense in this story!
