Reviews for "The Blind Switch"~Dollycas Review
The author brings a variety of characters and depth into her writing. Chapters vary POVs throughout and offer layers that you sift through as you delve deeper into the rabbit hole filtering out the “who dun it”. ~Ms. Cat's Honest World This is a “new-to-me” author and I very much liked her writing style. Perfect for the mystery genre. ~Socrates Book Review This mystery is filled with intriguing characters. I’m hoping to get to know them better in future books, if there are any. As with any book, some characters you love, some you hate. There were many I loved, especially Wayne, Dory and Billie Jo. It's like a big jigsaw puzzle to figure out. I was totally taken by surprise at whodunnit. I was on the wrong track, which made it even more fun. There are a couple of sub-plots, as well, which added to the mystery. All mixed together, this is a riveting story. The Blind Switch is the first book of a series and it gets off to an exciting start. It’s, also, a great way to meet the cast and get acquainted with them. This is a “new-to-me” author and I very much liked her writing style. Perfect for the mystery genre. I look forward to another trip to Tennessee. ~Here’s How It Happened Long held secrets, lies, politics, and ambitions muddy the investigation of a young horse trainer’s death. As the “team of four” do their best in specialized areas, they solve first one then another aspect of the multi-faceted case. It’s a roller coaster ride when the murder seems solved, then it’s not, then it is… but is it really? Be sure to have your coffee maker full and a stash of chocolate chip cookies ready, because you’ll not want to lay this book down. And for the softies in us all, there are plenty of new/old relationship and romantic aspects that keep this mystery a warm-hearted read. Kudos to Lyn Farrell for The Blind Switch, a suspenseful, well-written new PI mystery.
